We charge per 15 minute treatment, not per verruca/wart, meaning we can treat multiple verrucas/warts in the same session.

However in many cases improvement can be observed within a few days of starting the treatment, however, complete resolution of the verrucae or wart may take several sessions. With a few exceptions, most people with verrucae or warts should be able to have this treatment.
The podiatrist will always carry out an assessment prior to treatment and advise you accordingly.
Precautions - if any of the following apply to you, speak to the podiatrist before treatment-
*Metal pins, plates or implants only to the area requiring treatment, anywhere else is not a problem, such as metal fillings etc...
*Pacemaker
*Poor or limited healing capacity
*Pregnancy or breastfeeding, it is known that verrucae and warts can increase in size during this period.
*Low pain threshold
*Young children
*Neuropathy or poor peripheral circulation
Immediately after the treatment there will be no change in the appearance of your verrucae or wart. Typically a change should start to show after a few days.
the Swift works by prompting an immune response and time is needed for the process to get going. This is why we leave a minimum interval of 4 weeks between treatments.
as the verrucae or wart begins to regress it will turn a black colour and start to shrink in from the edges, whilst also reducing in thickness.
Swift is considered as immunotherapy. This means it enables your immune system to begin fighting and destroying the virus. However because of the way it works, it is not currently covered by health insurance.
